1. Cookies and similar storage
Cookies are small text records a website can ask your browser to save. They can remember a setting, keep a service secure or help measure how a website is used. Similar technologies include local storage, which saves data in your browser without sending it automatically with each page request.
In this policy, “browser storage” covers cookies, local storage and comparable website technologies. It does not include files a game publisher places after you leave Koru Forge.
2. Our current implementation
If we add privacy-respecting analytics in the future, it will remain disabled until you select “Accept all” where consent is required. We will update the table below with the provider, purpose and duration before that service goes live.
3. Storage categories
Essential and preference storage
This supports a feature you request or records a privacy choice. You can block or clear it, but the Site will no longer remember saved games or your consent selection. Essential storage is not used for cross-site advertising.
Analytics storage — inactive
Analytics can show broad patterns such as popular pages, device categories and errors. Koru Forge does not currently deploy an analytics platform. If this changes, optional analytics will use aggregated or minimised data and will be controlled through the consent panel.
Advertising and profiling — not used
We do not set advertising cookies, build cross-site advertising profiles or sell browser identifiers. Ordinary external links may take you to companies with their own practices.
4. Browser-storage inventory
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration | Category |
|---|---|---|---|---|
koru-cookie-choice | Local storage | Remembers whether you selected “Essential only” or “Accept all”, so the notice does not appear on every page. | Until site data is cleared | Essential preference |
koru-saved-games | Local storage | Stores the titles you mark with the save icon. The list remains in your browser and is not a Koru Forge account. | Until you unsave titles or clear site data | Requested feature |
Local-storage values do not have an automatic expiry date. You can delete them at any time through your browser controls. The Site does not use local storage to recognise you across unrelated websites.
5. Third-party websites and game services
Our catalogue uses local image files and does not embed third-party game players, social widgets or advertising frames. Clicking a “Play free” link opens a publisher or store in a new tab. Once that page loads, the third party may use its own cookies and account technologies under its own notice.
Koru Forge does not control or read cookies set on those external domains. Check the privacy and cookie settings offered by the game publisher, platform holder or storefront.
6. How to manage your choices
Use Koru Forge cookie settings
Select the button below or “Cookie settings” in the footer to reopen the consent panel. Choosing “Essential only” keeps optional analytics disabled. “Accept all” records permission, but no analytics data is collected while the analytics category remains inactive.
Use browser settings
Most browsers let you view, delete or block website data. Look for “Cookies and site data”, “Privacy”, or “Local storage” in browser settings. Blocking all storage will not prevent you from reading reviews, but saved games and the consent selection may reset.
You can also use private-browsing mode or configure supported tracking-protection signals. Because we do not currently run analytics or advertising trackers, no cross-site profile is created by Koru Forge.
7. Policy changes and contact
We may update this policy when a browser feature, hosting setup or analytics provider changes. The effective date above will be updated, and material additions will be reflected in the inventory before or when they take effect.
Questions about browser storage can be sent to privacy@koru-forge.com. For more detail about personal information, read our Privacy Policy.
